From Italian olive oil culture comes EVOLIO Expo, the international trade fair dedicated to EVO oil producers from around the Mediterranean (Nuova Fiera del Levante in Bari – January 30 – February 01, 2025)
Despite an estimated -32% production decline in 2024/2025 due to adverse weather conditions, with as many as 619 thousand olive oil enterprises, 4,327 mills, and +63% exports in the first 2024 semester, the sector is confirmed as strategic for the national economy. Moreover, our country always ranks first in olive oil consumption.
